About Our Restaurant

The name of our restaurant is inspired by the Mt. Kailash, a Himalayan mountain peak in Tibet. The Tibetan name for the mountain is Khangri Rinpoche, Khangri means snowy mountain & Rinpoche is Tibetan word for precious one. so khanri rinpoche means 'precious snowy mountain'.
The Mt. Kailash is considered very sacred by budhists,hindus & jains & believe to be place to get eternal heavenly solace.


In this ethnically diversed,highly multicultured & historically rich London,where one can relish a wide variety of cuisines from different parts of the world.Many tibetans & friends of tibetans felt the need of a tibetan restaurant with authentic traditional ingredients & unique exotic cooking style.
With huge support & encouragement from friends & family the idea of kailash restaurant concieved with the intention to offer our valued guests a peculiar & unique experience of exotic east amidst traditional tibetan ambiance and relaxing & tranquil Himalayan retreat.
